Chompers
Well, luckily the little baby dude has not bit me since. Maybe just my screams of pain scared him enough. Let's hope I didn't just jinx this.

Chill Hil
As I mentioned before, this past week was a rough one for me. My first instinct was "I need some alone time." "I need to get outta town." "Out with girls." "Just out by myself."
I was wrong.
Last night we didn't do anything crazy. Hung out at our house, our little family and a few friends. The baby slept great and didn't bite me (I'll post on THAT later). Today we ran some errands, had some Cucas for lunch, relaxed, hung out outside while John mowed the lawn. And then tonight while the baby was sleeping & smiling in my arms I realized I didn't need alone time. I just needed this little family time. Good family time. We are always running around, planning for the next day (well I am at least) that I forget to just chill out and enjoy everyone. Right now the baby is asleep, John is getting us food (yes I am eating this late - don't judge) and there are a million things I could do, but instead I am going to play on the computer until my husband gets home. Then I am going to enjoy my cheeseburger with my husband.

Running on E
Yesterday was a rough day. I felt like I was running on empty at work, as a mama, as a wife, as MYSELF. I woke up today and decided today HAD to be better. Work has been kinda of crazy, but my friend surprised me with Starbucks this afternoon - score. She sensed I wasn't myself yesterday. After work I put on some Fleetwood Mac, opened some wine and relaxed with baby J. I am feeling much better. It's amazing how music and writing or typing can soothe the soul.
